Meet Nina


I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with individuals and couples in the area of adoption, infertility and routes to forming a family. I provide a supportive and interactive experience with a direct, comforting, and realistic approach. I have practiced as an adoption therapist, educator, and consultant in San Francisco since 2009. I have extensive experience in the area of open adoption, with over ten years experience as a social worker at an adoption law office providing counseling, education and case management to both adopting parents and birth parents. I possess a deep understanding of the issues involved and the process of adoption.
Education and Credentials:
  • Bachelor of Arts, Psychology- University of California, San Diego
  • Masters of Social Work- San Diego State University
  • Title IV-E Program in Public Child Welfare
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, California- 2004 (LCS #22218).
  • Certified Grief and Loss Counselor- University of California, Berkeley
  • Additional Training-Working with the Neurobiological Legacy of Trauma
